CRYOLIPOLYSIS (FAT FREEZING) TREATMENT IN STOCKPORT, CHESHIRE
Cryolipolysis is a treatment used to destroy fat cells. The exposure to cooling is set so that it causes cell death of subcutaneous fat tissue without apparent damage to the overlying skin. The procedure is a non-surgical alternative to liposuction. It is very popular for hard to reach areas that usually could only be removed through a gym or diet process. It is also known as body sculpting.
Cryolipolysis works by lowering the temperature of the fat cells in the treatment area and killing the cells by up to 25% in a single treatment area.
The cells are naturally processed through the body and eliminated, so they don’t deposit elsewhere in the body. The change only happens in the target area, meaning if you have more than one area you will require more than one treatment.
Due to this process being non-invasive and no anaesthetics being required there is no down time however possible side effects are swelling, blanching, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, or tenderness.
